About Me
I’m Michael Kelley, aka mikejkelley, aka cyberspacemanmike. I have been: a CIS adjunct professor, an overseas ESL teacher, a published technical and provisional patent author, and a game developer whose companies have been accepted to multiple tech incubators. I’m now vlogging my adventures in cybersecurity on my youtube channel cyberspacemanmike!
The Cyberspacemanmike Channel
I bring years of teaching and technical writing experience to my hacking and hardware building tutorials. The instructions are always clear and concise, yet complete, and the videos themselves are rich with content and high-end production values. For these reasons the cyberspacemanmike videos are very well received; in under a year’s time, the very first video on the channel, “Pwnagotchi Tutorial, Pt. 1: Hardware” earned over 100K views. We are rapidly closing in on 4K subscribers!
Engagement (99.7% like to dislike ratio!)
But more importantly than views, the cyberspacemanmike channel earns engagement. Cyberspacemanmike videos average a 99.7% like to dislike ratio, likely the highest among similarly themed channels. Consider the following comments from the channel:
- @corneesmit7205 Let’s go! Always wanted to make one but lacked the motivation. You just changed that. I’m going to follow the journey with you
- @StoneyBaloney22 If not for your hard work, dedication, and willpower I would not have just made the breakthrough I was aimlessly looking for!!!! Thank you!…
- @MikeDroshev Finally an all steps tutorial, got it working!
- @user-hn7xe5hq8o Great work! Will keep a close eye on your channel 🙂
- @offdre2482 Thankyou so much man, looking around for the right answer for over a week. Finally came across your vids, again thankyou so much!!!!…
Engagement is further fostered with dialogue. I make it a point to respond to nearly each and every comment, troubleshooting technical issues and answering whatever questions I can:

Cross-overs and Features
As a result of these efforts the channel has been featured by big players in the cybersecurity and maker spaces. By way of example cyberspacemanmike has featured on the the Talking Sasquatch channel and the adafruit.com blog:

Sponsorship
The cyberspacemanmike channel is growing rapidly but more importantly it already has a loyal fanbase and active engagement. I’m looking to partner with companies and individuals that share the same ethos as those common to the maker and cybersecurity communities: innovation, collaboration, creation and discovery. If you’re such an entity and are interested in a partnership, please email me for further discussions! And as always, thanks for watching!
