I spent over a month creating these Audio Flashcards CompTia Sec+ files for myself while studying for the Security+ exam, knowing that I’d need to spend every waking moment preparing for the test. Loading the album on my phone, I was able to study anywhere and everywhere: while driving, walking, and working out. I was satisfied with my progress and quickly realized that others might appreciate being able to study for the Security+ exam on-the-go too, and so here we are!

These audio flash cards use a call/response technique in which a question is asked, a pause is provided, and then the answer is given. It’s similar to the Pimsleur method that was developed by the CIA for language training. The Pimsleur method helped me learn Korean and Arabic while working overseas, and now I’m putting the same principles to work as I learn cybersecurity. It’s been super effective at helping me study for the Security+ exam and I think it will help you too!
